All the dropdowns for materials on the conversational page of our 1500MX disappeared. The dropdowns are now greyed out. How can I reinstate them?
I have not got a backup of the machine settings. 
Just a guess but is the tool number you are using fully defined in the tool table?
I have seen the options grey out in the past but I was still able to access them. Are you saying that you can’t select anything from the drop down? If you do, can you press the circular arrow to get new values even when it is greyed out?
Tool has a length, diameter and basic description.
We recently re-imported the tool table from a csv file after another staff member made changes to our tool list, so I wonder if that broke something.
Yes, the reload button doesn’t do anything. Materials are still greyed out.
I think you need diameter, # of flutes and end mill material(HSS or carbide) at least to be fully defined for conversational. Might need the shape (flat, bullnose, ball) but I’m not sure.
All of the values that Dr Harold mentioned are helpful but not necessary for PP to offer feeds and speeds. I recommend you reach out to our support department, or sounds like something is a miss
