Why is it something obscure and super disruptive every damn day?!

I know it’s off topic but it seems like every day I have some obscure and super disruptive thing break. Not a normal thing like an insert or a belt (which I have extras ready to go).
Today it is this.

A boring insert holder. The insert didn’t even break which just defies all physics. Of corse I don’t have another one because?
They never break.
Ok back to doing normal machining that will somehow lead to the dovetail in my cross slide breaking.

Sadly no great story.
Just making a Jabari for one of my kitchen knives. Boring the part out of 316 Ss. Cutting 0.003” per pass.
I can’t believe the insert didn’t even break.
No rust, I don’t have coolant on that old myford super7.
