V 2.12.1 does not communicate with the digital height gage for tool lenghts

The latest version of pathpilot 2.12.1 will not communicate with the Tormach supplied digital height gage. It will not recognize the input when pressing the button on the usb cable even though the screen is popping up the zero height gage button when the usb cord is connected. After screwing around for over 2 hours troubleshooting it, I decided to roll back the pathpilot update and had to go back to v 2.10.1 and it started working as designed. Seems like the latest version has broken the communication

@Patrick_Lorenz This is indeed a covered bug. This should be addressed in 2.12.2! Thank you for the report!

Where does that button show up? I have been struggling to get my gauge to connect or work or at least let me know it is connecting but I see nothing. So far no luck or feedback from Tormach support beyond them asking for a video of me pressing an apparently dead device. I see nothing on PP
(V 2.12.1) screen to indicate an input.

@Richard_Boggs Like I mentioned to Patrick above, this is certainly a bug in 2.12. 2.12.2 will fix the issue, or a roll back using the Update button, to previous versions of PathPilot.
I spoke with the tech who has your case as well.

Thank you! Eagerly awaiting 2.12.3

Richard, on my machine I have always needed to unplug the usb cord and plug it back in to get the zeroing button to show up in the offsets screen. In the latest version, I can still get the button to show up but it is not communicating with the height gage for setting the lengths. Hope this helps you. The last version it worked on properly was 2.10,1

Yes, the electronic tool setter stopped working with PathPilot 2.12.1
It works with 2.10.1

Hi all -
Thank you for reporting this issue.
We have released PathPilot v2.12.2 this afternoon which includes a fix for the digital height gauge.
