I send my posts to the 770MX from my laptop to my T: drive. It’s no longer seeing that drive since latest pathpilot update 2.12.2
Any ideas how to fix this please?

I would start by going through the same setup process again to see if something changed.
Hi Davie
I trust you are well.
Thanks ever so much for quick response. I want to apologise. I was too quick to blame PP.
I’m using a DELL laptop which also recently had some windows updates.
After much head scratching last night, I finally found that Windows had turned off my network connection at this most recent update.
The TORMACH drive is now completely accessible to me again, thank goodness.
Sorry!
Steve
Great to hear! Party on.
Hmmmmm. I thought I had solved this, but I haven’t. It appears my windows 11 pro version 24H2 seems to now require a credentials username and password in order to map the network drive of the tormach onto my laptop. Something about insecure guest login. I am totally out of my depth, so I shall start a ticket with Tech Support. Anyone else had this since updating their copy of windows?
@Steve_Dunthorne I had a previous customer that found a solution to this Windows issue. We were at our wits end on the machine side. Here is what this customer found:
“Changing the windows authentication policy to allow insecure guest logins allowed the network share to be mapped”
I will admit, this is a bit out of my depth, but I figured I would share it here, just in case it helped anyone else!
ah that sounds promising, thank you Sam. How can I get hold of that 4 character password?
I would try pcnc as the password.
Thanks Sam, so I am presuming this credential is built into PP?
That would be correct.
Sam, this is fantastic, thank you! I have set my ‘enable insecure guest logons’ back to ‘NOT CONFIGURED’ as that is how they were originally. Then I set up my T:\ drive again as a mapped network drive, this time, as you suggest, connecting using different credentials, and immediately have full drive access of the Tormach drive to both my computers.
I am very grateful indeed. My wife said I was getting a bit stroppy! And you have just fixed me. Thank you.
