Turn Milling Pathpilot Display

770MX with Micro Arc.
Should the tool path display in Pathpilot show a round path?
And should a rotary Z slot also be curved with the Z shape?
And should the feed be in G93 inverse time?

The display of the toolpath will depend on the toolpath itself and how it was programmed. If you have a rotary move, you should see a curved line in the graphics, but it depends on what view you’re in. From the top or front view, it will look like a line, Side or ISO view will show the curve.

Inverse time may or may not be used depending on how you’ve programmed the part. It’s not required but it is often used by CAM softwares when a rotary axis is involved. But even then, if you don’t have inverse time enabled in your post processor settings, it may not be used.

I have a good friend who is way smarter than I am…
The straight lines are basically the arc unwound. The tool path is basically straight.
Then I found the A axis display check box in View Options. Now it’s round.
My post guy told me how to enable G93, inverse time.
Now the 4th spins at a more realistic rate, vs .0015" feed per tooth which is converted to deg/min.
New territory here…
Starting a new thread on 4th stuff.

Thanks
