PP doesn’t read my touchscreen, previous owner couldn’t fix it, I looked around and can’t find any videos or how To’s on the subject does anyone have the same issue? when I type admin touchscreen onto mdi it says no device found. I’ve tried connecting the usb directly onto the PC instead of an extension and nothing works I’ve tried vga and HDMI and they don’t work either.
Sounds like usb port, cable, driver issue. Is it a pp console? Sometimes the wires work loose inside.
New 440 owner here. I ordered the touch screen too. It’s not working but to be honest I’m still assembling the machine. So far, the power draw bar and ATC, flood coolant have been installed. The vise has been trammed. Next is the Microarc and finally the enclosure. I’ll look into the touchscreen issue last. It’s probably something simple.

I would wait on the Microarc unless you plan to do something with it right away. It takes up a lot of space on the table, and if you are newish to the machine, you’ll probably find you have plenty to figure out without that for now. You’ll be making chips sooner too! :). Congrats on getting it put together!
Thanks for the advice. I now have the touchscreen operational. I had to go into the FILE tab on PP and deleted the pointercal.xinput file. Rebooted PP and the touchscreen works.
