This is how mine looks. You can see the dummy plug hanginging if i need to unplug the probe or ets. I stow the ets between the chip tray & cabinet when not in use then just open the side window & set tool lengths then stow it when done.
Funny, that is exactly what I did on a previous machine when I converted a manual benchtop machine to cnc.
