Tool change

Ok a tool change doesn’t sound difficult, but this one is complicated by using the high speed spindle, I’m using SprutCam 15 and a PCNC 1100 upgraded to a series 3. The issue is I’m using a 1/8” end mill to rough cut and a .047” end mill with .003 radius to do two pockets and edge radius. The pocket and radius are duplicated on each side. Is there a way to save the part from the previous operations into a separate operation using the .047” EM after I’m done with the larger one.

There is no TTS for the HS spindle. So I would like to get all the roughing done before switching cutters. I do have the tool setting indicator so theoretically, I could zero the cutter on the part, move to the indicator zero it write down the negative number. Using that to set the Z zero offset. The larger EM can rough out part of the pocket but it’s to large for the whole thing. Has anyone dealt with this issue before, and come up with an elegant solution?
