Tool change exhaust for ETs blast

Just wondering if using the pneumatic tool changer exhaust port for the ETS air blast has been explored or is problematic. Not planning on restricting the air in any other than the connection to the ETS which is just an internal routing tube, open at both ends with a 1mm oraface on one end and a standard 6mm inlet.

Seems worth trying but I’d be concerned with the extra length of tubing and the small nozzle providing enough restriction that the carousel doesn’t retract prior to the spindle starting it’s movement. I would suggest trying it without a tool in the spindle or carousel first. Maybe even time the carousel retraction before and after the new plumbing to see if there’s an effect.
On further consideration, the added restriction might cause the carousel to get stuck on the tool rather than pulling free of the fork.
