Where are you guys picking this thing up with a pallet jack from? If you go the short way (front of machine to back) there’s a big cut out for the coolant tank, on the left side is the electronics enclosure and when I grab it from the right side my pallet jack tips forward (lifting the steering wheel off the ground) like the load is way out of balance.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Scott,
I have some 3/4" thick steel bars (plow blades, maybe) that I put along the Z axis to span the gap. My pallet jack is the extremely narrow/short model from Northern tool but it does fine with those plates and biasing to thr left side a bit.
Thank you,
Norman
That’s coming at it from the front I assume?
TY
Pallet jack works fine. I just slide mine in all the way to the right, from the front. Under steel frame. Move carriage as far right as you can to counter balance elect cabinet and spindle. If it a rough ride you may want to do as Norman said.

I think the issue I had was trying to move it before I powered it up. The way it is shipped the CG when picking it up from the right side was so far to the left that it was tipping my pallet jack up lifting the steering wheel off the ground. Once I was powered up and could move the carriage to the right it was fine. Thanks for the ideas all!
