Brand new machine, been using it for about a month now. At first the spindle sounded like most spindles I’ve used: A low pitched humming noise. Just today it started to squeal. It doesn’t sound like it’s grinding, but it’s a definite and substantial change in the pitch of the spindle sound. Happens with and without a tool holder in the chuck and at any speed. Any ideas?
Do you have a power draw bar? Have you looked in the spindle cover to check belt tension and make sure nothing is rubbing? Make sure the draw bar isn’t making contact and so on.
