Been running for awhile now but all of a sudden my SmartCool / Fogbuster is "pulsing rapidly up and down… it’s doing it on exported Fusion 360 Posts that I have run in the past. Funny thing is, it is not doing it on the first facing operation but on everything else…?

Looks like it needs a cleaning or the servo is missing a tooth.
No… as I stated…it is NOT doing it on all operations.
It is obviously a Post conflict that came about recently between Fusion 360 and PathPilot
For instance… on this Post it is
Face op - adjusts to tool and working as normal
Adaptive - pulsing up and down
Adaptive - pulsing up and down
2d contour - pulsing up and down
2d contour - pulsing up and down
Drill - adjusts to tool and working as normal
Drill - adjusts to tool and working as normal
Drill - adjusts to tool and working as normal
Drill - adjusts to tool and working as normal
Thread - adjusts to tool and working as normal
2D chamfer - pulsing up and down
Which PP are you using?
If your not using Zoomspeed’s PP
You should try it- IMO way better than Tormachs version
Also, the pulsing if a feature of smartcool is it not?
Perhaps the pulsing is turned on in the code that you mention….compare the G code line by line between when it pulses and when it doesn’t

I am using Zoomspeed… nothing has changed in my feature sets and like I said it is only doing it on certain tool paths…and again this is on the same jobs (posts) that I ran in the past fine without this issue. To me is seems like it is in the software update because of this.
The Smartcool is set to tool length…to me it is getting confused on tool length or again a software issue obviously but if you know a specific “pulsing option” in settings I will gladly check for it but I have not seen one and/or made any changes to Post.
Yes…this has been going on for weeks…just finally tired of seeing it pulsing up and down instead of directing itself to the end of the tool as it has always done before.
Started after the last PathPilot update so I am going to assume it caused it unless someone actually knows on here.
Again, the annoying thing is it is only on certain tool paths throughout the op… so I am guessing path pilot or zoom speed is no longer playing nice with certain Fusion programs like Adaptive
I ran into an issue last year with an update
Its quite easy to revert back
Maybe try that - if thats it then Tormach needs to add it to the list of bugs to fix
I saw this as well recently. It has to do with the way fusion is posting, not a PP update. This wiggle is an optional mode in the smart cool, nothing to cause concern.
Check your post configuration for one of these programs. I don’t remember the relevant option but it was pretty obvious when I dug into it a few weeks ago
Figured it is something to do with Fusion or PathPilot updates… been looking but all I see in Post is
a SmartCool “sweep percentage”… and not sure what that is or what to try.
Then, because it is only doing it on half the tool ops and not on all of them…it has to be a setting in each tool op specifically…and not overall in post I’d imagine…?
And I just found out it only does it with a Xoomspeed post and not the Tormach post…so has to be a conflict between Xoomspeed, Fusion, Path Pilot…

So must be either the Coolant Equipment field is a conflict or Multi Coolant air blasts…
So finding out it is in fact the XoomSpeed Coolant equipment…it no longer likes if you choose “Tormach SmartCool” as I had… flipped it to “Standard” and no longer doing it.
