Simple way to cut and paste messages off of controller?

I just want to save or cut and paste from the status screen and put it on a different network machine.

I’ve got the controller mounted from my MAC and copy files back and forth.

Sorry for the probably simple question, but I’m drawing a blank right now

Yeah, it is written in the logs, but not too frequently (like at startup) so you’d end up having to ensure the python script was started before PathPilot (example, using systemd to start it). Honestly, if it were me, I’d just define it in the config section, and make it slightly different per machine in my shop I was running this on. Set a machine constant, or customize the topic strings for each machine, eg: change: MQTT_TOPIC_INTERP = 'pathpilot/interp_state' to: MQTT_TOPIC_INTERP = '770M/…

It’s a one time thing (this time), but seems it would be REALLY useful to cut and paste from status view (F1) to a file at least. Then that can be copied off.

I did a cut of the messages I was interested in, popped open a terminal, did a cat > errors.txt, pasted and ^c

I’m a linux/unix guy so no big deal. But a real PIA to grab 2 messages.

As far as the status messages being in a log file somewhere, I couldn’t find them (I tried the logs button on the screen which zips up all the crap into a file). I didn’t dig too hard through the zip contents so it might have been there.
