Presets for conversational facing in Aluminum seem wrong

I’m doing a conversational facing operation. I selected Aluminum 6061 and hit the little circular arrow button, and it populated the values like this. Note that “roughing mm/rev” is 0, and the max rpm is 310. It won’t let me post with a roughing mm/rev of 0, and I doubt it can achieve the MPM at 310 rpm.

This doesn’t seem right to me. Is something amiss?

Can you share what the tool offset tab looks like for this tool?

Hello @Rick_Mann

I find that the more information that is put into the tool description, the more accurate the conversational data will be. The CNC uses the information from that description when calculating cutting data. If you are using Tormach tools you can type in the P/N and the tool table will autofill all of the important data about the tool you are using into the description box.

I hope this helps.
