A used PCNC 1100 popped up locally. According to the docs I found online, it requires 87” height. Is there a way to lower it to fit under 83” ceilings?
Also, is it possible to upgrade spindle and atc to bt30? (I already own a ton of tooling).
I think you could make a stand that is shorter. I don’t believe there is any tormach path to upgrade a PCNC to both bt30 and ATC. I think they used to offer a BT-30 spindle, but I think it was meant to use a threaded draw bar, not pull studs.
