I see that this is a bit of an older post that never got a clear answer, and is starting to get attention again. If anyone has a controller that is failing to power on and boot correctly, we have recently updated our public knowledge base and there is an article that I would recommend looking at, which can be found here: Controller Won't Power On

If none of those troubleshooting steps fix your controller, we would recommend filling a support ticket through our website at: Jira Service Management, although usually the controller will need to be replaced.

I see the part that you are making…I’m just curious, is it for a chess set…kinda looks like the beginnings of a pawn or a bishop.
It’s a trombone mouthpiece! 
The last step is to bore out the inner curves and tapers. That’s my next major skill I need to learn. Though to be honest the one I was most nervous about was drilling. I had to move the limit screw so I could use the entire bed length just to get the drill in. Worked great, though.
