I went to update my 8L lathe pathpilot because it would not recognize the connection. When I went to do that I plugged in my pathpilot v2.0.0 flash drive and it reimaged instead. I’ve tried everything I could to restore it to original but the best I can do is reimage to pathpilot 2.0. Once that works however there is no option in the machine configuration for the startup for an 8L. I tried using the configuration for every other machine on the list but all it says on startup is the Mesa Interface Updated. Firmware updated on Mesa ethernet interface successfully. Then it goes straight to the screen that says It is now safe to remove power from the controller. No pathpilot. Nothing. This cycle keeps happening no matter what settings I change or reimages that I make. Please help.

When you boot up, can you get to the machine picker screen again at all?
From the selection screen, you can load a PathPilot update, from a USB stick, using the TGP file from this page. Tormach PathPilot Updates Once installed, your option for 8L should once again be selectable.
I can get to the picker screen. How do I upload the PathPilot update from there? I have the TGP file. I uploaded it just fine onto my other 8L but it gave me the option.
I figured it out. I just had to plug in the controller to my PCNC440 and setup for that. Then I could update and change. Before it was giving me errors if I chose a different machine. Thanks for your help.
