Any one here separate the lathe from the cabinet to load on to a trailer.
I will have to load with an engine hoist and not sure I can lift the whole thing high enough,
2 hours away and going to look at it today. Earlier model without the full enclosure. I know I will have to pull any shielding to strap down .

David,
Which parts specifically are you planning on separating?
Thank you,
Norman
I moved mine fully intact about three weeks ago, I was lucky to have a tractor on hand to load it. I put straps through the round hole on the base and pulled on to the back and one to the front, make sure you protect the strap through the holes, I moved it 80km up and down through a Valley
I went and looked at it today and looks like *I can lift it intact.
Dave
“Can be lifted in tact”is different than “I can lift it in tact”.
Large hydraulic machinery straps and chains is good for the first one. If you’re taping an engine hoist to a floor dolly and rolling it down a plywood ramp separating it is your best bet. Also make sure you have the equipment on both ends of the journey.
The worst is when you get there and the pallet jack is really a floor dolly.
