So I finally got my shiny new VFD and installed it last night. Problem is its not working correctly. I double checked the wiring from the manual and its doing something but when commanded any speed the spindle “locks up” it kinda feels like its braking or resisting turning. I double checked my motor winding resistance and its in spec at 2.3 ohms and the VFD lights up and looks like it wants go but nothing happens. I have a link to a video of the display on the drive when I try to turn it on.

I’m not sure but after ready and before PLC at about 2 sec into the video its showing a number that happens to be 0.00. I feel like that should either be the commanded rpm or the frequency in Hz. Anyone got any insight on this one?

I had seen your posts on Facebook. I think we should dig into this one, in a case. This is a pretty unusual fault to see.
