There is an NYC-CNC video that extolls the virtues of Tormach’s grab cad library. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to exist anymore or at least is not easily found anymore.
Any clues / pointers?
Thanks,
-Dave

This link on Tormach’s site indicates that it has solid models for the various machines:
GrabCad’s user interface isn’t great.
It looks like Tormach only has one model when you first arrive at https://grabcad.com/tormach.llc-1/models:
However, if you click on that “model” you will see that it contains ~140 individual solid models of various parts. It looks like these were uploaded long ago and could be out of date.
I bet the ones hosted on www.tormach.com are more current. ChatGPT put this list together for me:
| Tormach Product | Solid Models / Drawings Available |
|---|---|
| PCNC 1100 Mill | PCNC 1100 Solid Models & Drawings |
| 1100M / 1100MX | 1100MX Solid Models & Drawings |
| 770M / 770MX | 770MX Solid Models & Drawings |
| 1500MX | 1500MX Solid Models & Drawings |
| 8L Lathe | 8L Lathe Solid Models & Drawings |
| 15L Slant-PRO Lathe | 15L Slant-PRO Solid Models & Drawings |
| PCNC 440 | PCNC 440 Solid Models & Drawings |
| 24R CNC Router | 24R CNC Router Solid Models & Drawings |
| 4th Axis / Rotary / Accessories | 4th Axis Solid Models |
Thanks for the links. I did eventually find both. It seems that they now group them differently - by machine, on the site. The grab CAD repo you have to dig.
I did get the folder of 140 models. It did not contain a prior model I got from (I think Tormach) for their ETS. This time I was looking for a model for the spindle speeder - which I didn’t find so I just created it myself.
Interestingly, I also couldn’t find the ETS model that I previously acquired - I believe that was directly from Tormach. It just feels like they pulled back on available models.
