Anyone know how much force is required to fully press a JT2 arbor into a JT2 chuck? More than one ton? More than 3? Mine came pressed together from Tormach, even though they are sold individually, but a minor crash has caused the arbor to get pulled out about 1/4”.

Yea I should have mentioned I already tried that strategy. Went well beyond “lightly” tapping. A 5 pound sledge and the chuck / arbor sandwiched between 2x4’s had no effect at all - which is kind of what made me assume they’re supposed to be pressed in. Hmm.
