Question for those of you who have your machines in a makerspace type environment with multiple users. We are utilizing devices from a company called GRIT Automation. These devices allow us to lock a machine out if they do not have proper authorization/training to use that specific piece of equipment. Users then scan a badge thru the reader and if authorized it will allow the machine to turn on. We are now in the process of adding safety control devices to all of our CNC equipment. Currently we have them installed in our manual machines and throughout the woodshop. for these machines I will be adding their emergency stop triggers into our Tormach mills (770, 1100mand 1100MX). Before I go tearing into things, has anyone installed these before and if so how did it go?
