I’ve been trying to program a concave radius on a part in my 8l. No matter what tool I select it says tool is too large and will gouge the part. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kicking myself for not buying a Proto Trak at this point.
@Michael_DeWeese are you adjusting the front angle and back angle in the Tool Geometry section of the profiling tab?
The conversational tool path creator relies heavily on the tip that you select when setting up the tool as well as the geometry angles that I mentioned above.
If that doesn’t clear it up can you post a picture of the parameters you are putting into conversational?

Also try reducing the tool radius. Sometimes I’ll change it to .001 just so I can run the program.
