Custom Stand for Tormach 770M

Since I have did not have the space for the standard 770M machine stand and enclosure I built my own stand including a “partial” enclosure with chip bins.
Not having a full enclosure pretty much takes care of flood cooling, but since I’m a hobbyist its a small price to pay. My stand is based on a steel table with 10,000 lbs. load capacity and I added four drawers for storage of measuring equipment, tools etc.
The stand also includes four heavy duty casters which allowed me to move the machine to it’s final location with ease. For stability/rigidity the stand and machine are lifted of the casters by four threated swivel mounts.

That looks pretty sweet! I like the caster/feet solution.
Your mql system looks wild. Was that bought or built?

Hi Davie, yes the MQL is self made.
I built that about four years ago for my Precision Matthews Mill and than again for my PM Lathe and again for my 770M.
The concept is similar to a Fogbuster, but I wanted to have a valve body with two separate valves for air and lubricant, and a completely separate circuit and nozzle for air-only.
