Climbing versus conventional milling rotation

Hi folks. I feel that I’m missing someone basic

1100M using conversational to cut pocket. I’m using tormach mills, and inputted them to the library, so conversational should have all relevant information, but still the 1100 moves in direction of rotation (fwd) or makes a climbing cut, rather than moving around the pocket against the rotation of the bit.

Am I missing something, or is this just the default of pathpilot conversational? Can I switch the path that conversational takes?

Do you not want to do a climb cut for some reason? Climbing is basically the default for most CNC mill work.

What Roy is saying is correct… there may be some reason to conventional cut, but I dont know of one…
