Chip bin bags

Hey all,

Recently I saw an add somewhere for chip bin bags that are made from a filer type fabric to keep out the fine swarf and chips from getting back into the tank. But now I can’t find where I saw it. I’m on a 1100M.

Anyone seen these? Can you let me know where?

I saw a NYC CNC video I believe that he was setting up a coolant filter that had a bag in a canister. Could that be it?

I found them there on eBay.

If it’s the same video I saw that’s a in line coolant filter. I actually built one and have on my machine.

Seems like the tank bag might be useful when milling wood and such. Anyone tried it for that?

Sounds a bit like a bag filter. McMaster-Carr sells the filters as well as housings. The housing can be $$$, but on occasion I’ve just discharged a slightly dirty fluid into an open bag filer with generally good results.
