Can't physically see X-Axis stops (P440)

The cover that goes in front of the table blocks my view of the X-Axis stops. I find this inconvenient manually jogging the table, as I like to be able to physically see them even though path pilot references them (Just in case). Anyone come up with a solution?

Clear plastic cover instead of the metal one or cut out a window and replace with plastic?

You need something and to keep chips away from that area.

If they accumulate, you could get a false e-Stop…probably at the most inconvenient time in the middle of a cycle (been there done that at least once with Y-axis).

That’s a brilliant idea! I’ll order clear filament to 3d print a cover today. I blanked really hard on this one for some reason.

For those who don’t have a 3D printer, what I had in mind was clear plastic/plexiglass that will bend with heat without deforming, use a heat gun/hair dryer to heat, bend along marked lines with a metal guide and drill mounting holes. Maybe 10 minutes if you have all that and tools in front of you…
