Bump the VM/CPU hosting the forum?

I don’t know who to tag/is responsible for this aspect of the forum but could we get someone to run a memo up the flagpole to get someone to take a look at the resource utilization and maybe bump this to the next higher level of VM/hosting resources/look at caching/etc. at some point?

I’m on bi-directional 1 gigabit Internet at home (on “enterprise grade” networking/WLAN hardware and a new laptop, so I don’t think it’s me) and recently, the forum seems to time out when loading pages or has explicitly given me an error message it has exceeded its allocated hosting resources.

Thanks!

Haven’t noticed anything of the sort for me.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen a message like that either.

I did check the resource utilization for the past 24 hours and then again for the past 7 days, and in both cases I didn’t see anything that exceeded limits, and I don’t see any notifications from our cloud provider that one or more of our VMs have exceeded limits.

However, I’d love more information. If you (or anyone else reading this message) ever see that message again (specifically the one you mention about exceeding allocated hosting resources) I’d love it if you could screenshot it and then send me a message with it so I could look into it further.

Thanks!

Thanks for checking on your end. I hit it again yesterday but silly me instinctively just refreshed at the same time the neural pathway of “maybe you should grab a screenshot of this” fired, so I missed that opportunity to get you the exact wording of error message this forum/BB software was throwing.

Not sure what may be going on, considering I personally have a tiny VPS with the overhead of Plesk that serves several websites…
