A few days ago, the touchscreen stopped working on my series 3. The mouse would still work. The odd thing was that the ATC wasn’t communicating with the machine either. It would automatically go to manual tool change mode. My current version is v2.10.1. I’m almost thinking that it has something to do with the USB ports. I replaced the cables to make sure that they were not the problem. Has anyone run into this problem before?
I haven’t run into this on my machine but this is pretty classic USB issue. Do you have a USB hub in between? Depending on the controller you might have extra USB ports to try out.
Standard troubleshooting on this is to pull all USB devices and systematically check the USB ports on the controller with a known good USB device (like your mouse that you know still works)
I have the exact same problem with my 1100 S3. I just bought a new Viewsonic touch screen monitor. Path pilot works with the mouse only most of the time. After doing a TS calibration, the TS will work Most of the time.
I also just bought the ATC and installed it this past weekend. Path Pilot is not recognizing the associated USB.
JUST CURIOUS if you solved it.
