100mx pallet jack question

Hi guys

I’m finally picking up my Tormach 1100mx can I use a narrow pallet jack or will I need a standard pallet jack?

Dos anyone know the width and length of the base, I have wide doors but I need to pre measure before calling the moving guys

thanks

Your best bet is going to be to get the widest pallet jack you can find. If you are just moving the machine a few feet you can get away with picking is up by the stand directly. However, if you are moving it a ways then you should crib underneath the stand with 4x4 (or similar) to span the whole bottom.

The base is 38"(W) x 40"(D)

Do you know if the 1100mx weights 600kgs on its own with the ATC attached, I have removed my mill from the enclosure I now need to put it on a pallet so I can roll it onto the tailgate lift of the hire truck , I am a Quuadriplegic, so I have to hire people to help an think ahead of time

I installed some reinforcing pieces of metal in the stand because my pallet jack only caught a few inches of the corner sheet metal and they were starting to bend. That’s another thing worth looking at if your pallet jack isn’t wide enough.
