Any one have issues with their 1100 MX machine

My z motor went bad. It was covered under the warranty.

I have issues. Nothing major. Right now I’m battling the mystery of the spindle encoder sometimes working and sometimes not.

There was a 3 mm shim under the read head. I removed it and it’s fine now. I changed the spindle under warranty so it must have be shimmed for that spindle.
