After using the machine (1100 MX) for ~10mo, I have had two incidences that the end mill pushes on the tool setter and almost breaks it. It looks like activating tool setter does not register and gets ignored. I’d say, at any circumstance, touching the tool-setter should trigger a stop and back out. That seems to be a real dangerous bug
You might have a bum connection or ETS. It is recommended to tap your ETS or probe tip when using it for the first time in a day. Watch the respective “LED” in PP to verify it triggers before proceeding.
Doing this will also, likely, help you identify the problem as you watch the behavior.
I don’t know which model/type of ETS you have, but I wired the over travel switch on mine to handle this edge case.
